Precision laser shaft & geometric alignment systems

ATS can perform both shaft and geometric alignments using the latest precision laser alignment systems, using the AMS 2140 Laser Shaft Alignment System and the E720 Laser Geometry Alignment System for our laser alignment services.

We ensure that any laser shaft alignment that we perform meets the recommended alignment tolerances for the shaft speed of the machine. We use high quality pre-cut stainless steel shim to accurately set the vertical position and resolve any soft foot that may be causing distortion of your machine frame.

The E720 system is highly specialised and can measure machine geometric parameters such as parallelism, distortion, flex, out of round, flatness, straightness and squareness with high accuracy (up to +/- 1 micron per metre over 40 metres range @ 360 degrees rotation).

It also has a filter function to allow for variances in measurement such as heat dissipation and machine vibration, which means the machines geometry can be measured accurately while still running (if required).
